Wedding Scent Preview: Something Blue by Oscar de La Renta

I am in love with this Something Blue by Oscar de la Renta and yes it’s because I am getting married in 5 weeks. Anxiety is surely setting in, but I trust my planner the uber talented and extremely fabulous #LIFESAVER, Kesh Events of Chicago, Illinois will help me pull off a spectacular day.

In the meantime, we are shopping for the #scentoftheday and I will start by sharing my views of this glorious scent inspired by ‘life’s most magical’ or ‘most glorious day of any woman’s life.’ Personally, I am partial to all things Oscar de la Renta at this moment and of course his perfume was a no brainer. The case alone is simply divine and the removable ring at the neck of the perfume with his signature logo adds such a personal touch that even makes you feel that Oscar himself is partaking in your day.

The ingredients are as follows:

Top notes: Italian bergamot, Mandarin, Neroli, Linden blossom

• Heart notes: Stephanotis, Fleur de narcisse, Lily of the valley, Kiss of lychee

• Base notes: Ambrette seeds, White musk, Ambergris, Cashmere woods, Bourbon vanilla

While this perfume has captured my heart, a girl can never have enough, so please stay tuned as I try other glorious scents out there until the d-day where I finally reveal my top scent for my special day.

p.s. I will try to blog everyday until the wedding day, but do be patient with me as my cup runneth over but I am ever so thankful to GOD.
